Sauteed Pigs Trotters and Hocks

½ kg. Pigs’ trotters & hocks
1 medium size onion, sliced into rings
3 cloves garlic, sliced
1 T. light soy sauce
1 t. lemon juice
¼ t. sugar
¼ t. cracked pepper corns

Cook pigs’ trotters and hocks in a pot until tender or cook in pressure cooker for 15 minutes. Let cool, drain and set aside broth.
In frying pan sauté garlic and onions, add trotters and hocks.
Add soy sauce, cracked pepper corns, sugar and lemon juice.
Season to taste and serve hot with plain rice and fresh vegetable salad.

The broth can be use for making pea soup, mung bean soup with some pieces of the cooked trotters and hocks.
