1c. plain flour
½ c. w sugar
1 ½ t. baking powder
1 t. vanilla
6 eggs
½ c.vegetable oil
1 t. cream of tartar
¼ c. sugar

Lightly grease or line a torta mould with paper cups or greaseproof paper and set aside.
Separate yolks and white in two separate bowls.
Beat egg yolks and sugar until smooth and creamy.
Add cooking oil, continue beating and add vanilla.
Sift in flour and baking powder to the yolk mixture and mix well and set aside.

Beat egg whites and cream of tartar and gradually add sugar until soft peaks form and fold it in gently into the batter mixture.
Fill each mould up to 2/3 full and bake for 20 minutes at 150 deg C or when tested with a toothpick and comes out clean mamon is ready.
